Karina Duque ,AKA.........YOGA QUEEN

Born in Venezuela, Publicist by profession and graduated from the National School of Dance in Venezuela in July 1991, where she received training in Classical Ballet and Contemporary Dance.

Karina decides to take yoga classes in order to go beyond the movement of the body as a means of artistic expression, there she discovers that this is the path to follow in her physical, mental and spiritual development, and she begins her training in this practice by receiving workshops of the Iyengar Yoga and Vinyansa Yoga method.

She began her training as a Yoga instructor in June 2016, receiving her certification as a Hot Power Vinyasa Yoga Instructor (endorsed by Yoga Alliance) with Master Fred Bush, thus formally beginning her journey as an instructor, which has allowed her to learn from the hand of her students, as well as continue to grow spiritually and mentally by opening her heart with a full consciousness in each class she gives and in each Yoga practice she does.  Karina also supported the "Seno y Vida" foundation in Venezuela for 3 years through exclusive free classes for breast cancer patients and cancer survivors.

In October 2021, she began to be part of the staff of teachers at Limitles Pediatric Center, where she currently works as a teacher assistant, a job that allowed her to discover that children are great teachers who remind us how easy everything can be by seeing through their eyes.  Karina is super happy to have the opportunity to learn new experiences hand in hand with the children.
